All-American Bowl to Honor Central Catholic Offensive Lineman Ben Rios

On Thursday, November 11, Central Catholic hosted The All-American Bowl’s Road to the Dome tour to recognize Ben Rios as a 2022 All-American. The event took place in the Kahlig-Cowie Convocation Center to honor Rios before classmates, teammates, family, and friends during an afternoon assembly.

Deandre Marshall, who has verbally committed to UTSA and Sylas Gomez, who has verbally committed to Army, were selected to play in the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game presented by H-E-B and will also be recognized.

Rios is a three-star recruit and verbally committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio. Ben Rios will play in the annual East vs. West matchup on Saturday, January 8, 2022, in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The Bowl will be nationally televised live on NBC and will feature the nation’s top 100 high school football players. The San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game follows the All-American Bowl and will be broadcast locally on CW35 and ESPN 1250 AM.
