Button Cross Country - Central Catholic XC Invitational

The Running Buttons, our school's esteemed cross country team, recently competed at the Central Catholic Cross Country Invitational, held at NEISD Sports Park on Saturday. We are thrilled to announce that both our Varsity and JV teams achieved remarkable success, finishing in first place in their respective divisions.
 
The Varsity team displayed exceptional performance, with Andrew Rivas leading the pack and securing an outstanding 1st place overall finish with an impressive time of 16:20.45. Following closely behind were Noah Fernandez, placing 4th overall with a time of 16:33.9, and Marcos Serda, finishing in 5th place overall with a time of 16:45.4. Their remarkable efforts contributed significantly to the team's first-place victory.
 
Equally notable was the JV team's performance, led by the incredible talent of Isaiah Fetter. Isaiah exhibited exceptional skill and determination, securing a remarkable 1st place overall finish with an impressive time of 17:57.4. Accompanying him on the podium were Thomas Murray, finishing 2nd with a time of 18:12.9, and Leonidas Bendele, placing 3rd with a time of 18:25.5. Their admirable performances collectively contributed to the team's first-place success in their division.
