EVENT SUPPORT

Truck Raffle - Weekly (Sept. - Nov.)

Answer Required

One of our biggest fundraisers for financial assistance is our annual Truck Raffle. Each year, the raffle begins at the start of the school year, with the drawing scheduled to take place on November 8, 2024. We need volunteers to assist with weekly counting (Fridays from 8 - 11 AM) and to serve as “Site Directors” who will assist the boys at various sale sites (mostly weekends).

Central Catholic Gala - February 15, 2025

CCHS will host its annual Central Catholic Gala on February 15, 2025 at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts. This popular and important event is a joint effort between the Central Catholic Alumni Association and the Central Catholic Parent Club. Volunteers are needed to help with soliciting auction items, table sponsorships, and event underwriters.

Father-Son - April 5-6, 2025

This annual event will be held on April 5-6, 2025 at Camp Tecaboca (overnight). This is a special weekend for fathers and sons to bond over liturgy, food, and activities. Volunteers are needed to help coordinate all aspects of this memorable event. The Father/Son committee typically meets once a month.

Mother-Son - April 27, 2025

Answer Required

This event is a special time for mothers and sons to gather for liturgy, lunch, and to make special memories. Volunteers are needed to serve on the committees such as decoration, logistics, invitation, registration, etc.

Faculty/Staff Appreciation - Monthly

Answer Required

This committee lets CCHS teachers, administrators, and staff know how much they are appreciated by planning, coordinating, and executing thoughtful events and activities monthly, throughout the school year.

BOOSTERS

Athletic Boosters

Volunteers support all Athletic-related events and tasks.

Band Boosters

Answer Required

JROTC Boosters

Answer Required

Volunteers support all JROTC-related events and tasks.

CAMPUS SUPPORT

Spirit Store

Answer Required

The Spirit Store provides apparel and accessories so our parents, students, and alumni can show their support. Volunteers are needed to manage the store during the week, football games, and other athletic games and special events. We can also use help with inventory, stocking and pricing.

Campus Ministry

Answer Required

Volunteers support all Campus Ministry-related events and tasks. Committee members also plan and organize parent events.

On-Call Volunteers

Answer Required

Is your schedule flexible? Are you available during the day? Add your name to our On-Call Volunteer list. There may be times when the administration will need volunteers for unforeseen activities and sometimes at the last minute. If we find we’re short-handed or could use additional help at the last minute, we’ll check with the “0n-Call” list of volunteers first. Dates/times will vary.

Admissions/Enrollment Support

Volunteers support the admissions office with a variety of recruitment activities (such as Middle School Tailgate) and/or tours. These events/activities are spread throughout the year, but mainly September-March.

Host Family Support

Answer Required

A host family has the responsibility of providing an international student with a safe, supportive and loving home for an academic year. As a student joins your family, he would be encouraged to participate in all aspects of family life. This personal learning experience fosters the exchange of ideas and provides a student with exposure to the cultural and social environment of the home. Volunteers are needed to be host families for our foreign exchange students. If your family is interested in being a host family, please contact Bethany Herman, Director of Enrollment, for more information.
