On Tuesday (February 15), Mr. Bendele’s 3rd-period Dual Credit Evolution class spent a day over at Friedrich Wilderness Area on the far north side of San Antonio. The class hiked for several miles on a beautiful sunny day. They also learned how to identify several trees and birds native to the Texas Hill Country and apply these species to concepts from class. In addition, the class learned how to perform exercises that measure soil erosion, species density, and much more! This was not only an educational experience but definitely an enjoyable one, as well!
