I know this school year is quickly coming to an end - and for our seniors, it has been an epic four-year adventure filled with COVID, online classes, and probably a million other things!
As we get closer and closer to the end of the school year, I just wanted to say how touched I am by the amount of hard work that the senior Guardian Angels put into our recent Lenten Drive. We ended up collecting over $2000!
Monetary donations were given to the following charities:
- St. Gregory - St. Vincent de Paul/Easter Basket Project.
- Seton Home (diapers for unwed mothers)
- Catholic Charities - St. Vincent de Paul/Can Drive
- Habitat for Humanity San Antonio
- Determined to Develop (Malawi, Africa - has Marianist connections).
- Villa Maria Residence (home for young women ran by sisters - Religious of Mary Immaculate)
- Madonna Neighborhood Center
Over the past 40 days (more or less), we did something that was really amazing and I sincerely thank each of you for that! A successful drive ALWAYS takes an entire community!
In my classes, I always talk about finishing a school year strong. Mission accomplished!
Your Brother in Christ,
James Bendele
