Central Catholic eSports Program The Snake Bytes First Competition

Central Catholic’s eSports Program, ”The Snake Bytes” competed for the first time this past weekend at the Tech Port Center + Arena in Port San Antonio. Accompanied by Sra. Mendez and Dr. Ballesteros, the team played in Rocket League, Valorant, and Ultimate Super Smash Brothers. 
 
The Rocket League Team, consisting of Aiden Gutierrez, Ethan Winfrey, and Seth Arteaga, earned a 3-to-1 record.
 
The Valorant Team, composed of Nathan Talamantez, Rudy Davila, David Velazquez, and Julian Stiles, had a 1 to 2 record.
 
The Smash Brothers Team consisted of Isaac Pohl, Kolby Cruz, and Mariano Aguilar. By the end of the competition, Isaac Pohl ended up being among the top eight students who competed that day.
 
The next competition will be on November 12. Go Snake Bytes!
