Earlier in the week, Trey Gonzalez (CCHS alum, class of 2013) gave a presentation to a group of current Central students on careers in psychology, country music, faith, and life.
Trey is currently a research psychologist. His graduate research is specifically in the field of
industrial psychology, although Trey was able to also touch on some of the branches of
psychology. In addition, Trey was quick to point out that his love for psychology goes all the
way back to when he was a student here at Central Catholic. After all, he was Mr. Bendele’s
Psychology Dux Esto back in the day!
One of the most interesting pieces if Trey’s journey, however, is that he also tours and records
as a country music artist. At the end of his presentation, Trey was able to perform a couple of
his songs.
On top of all that, Trey has an extremely strong faith. It was refreshing to hear him talk to our
students about his relationship with Christ. He is truly a wonderful person and a positive
mentor.
