Last Sunday a group of Guardian Angels volunteered at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church to serve at a menudo cook-off! On Monday, a large group of Guardian Angels delivered cans to St. Mary Magdalen’s Catholic Church. We also sent monetary donations (which were collected at home football games all season) to Holy Rosary Catholic Church and St. Michael’s Catholic Church. The total amount of cans was more than 6000! These donations will go toward helping needy families enjoy Thanksgiving!
The “crew” that helped deliver the cans was diverse. There were 13 current students, one alum, two faculty members, two administrators, and two of Mr. Bendele’s kids. The fact that everyone showed up willing to help in the cold and rain made this delivery really special!
