Hello Central Catholic Families!
During Advent, we are asked to prepare our hearts and minds for the second coming of Jesus Christ. We are asked to open ourselves and to be active in spreading the word, living a life of service, and ministry. Advent reminds us to slow down a bit to intentionally set time aside to pray and identify how God lives within us. It reminds us to stop, take a look back, take a look around, and look forward to what God has planned.
Christmas is a time when families gather to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a time when traditions are shared and new memories are made. I can already smell the aroma of pan de polvo cooking in the oven and biting into those delicious tamales. Whatever family traditions you have, I pray you are surrounded by friends and family.
The first semester has flown by and is quickly coming to a close! Our young men have much to celebrate, and we are excited for what is to come. There are only a couple of weeks left with exams right around the corner, finish strong!
Lastly, we are in the middle of our recruiting and admissions season. We ask that all of our families continue to spread the good news about our beloved Central Catholic. Reach out to your friends and families and share the importance of experiencing a great Catholic, Marianist education. Talk to them about what it’s like to be a part of our Central Catholic community. You are at the core of our success, and remember to re-enroll!
