Dear Central Catholic Family,
Several days ago, I wrote to inform you that Coach Santiago had entered palliative care as his battle with cancer was taking a toll on him. Today, I write to let you know that Coach is no longer in pain and is beginning his heavenly journey.
Coach Santiago passed away peacefully in his home early this morning, surrounded by his family. As more details regarding services for Coach are solidified, we will share those with the greater CCHS community.
For now, please keep Coach Santiago and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Let's join together as a community to uplift and support them, providing the strength and comfort they need as they navigate this new journey without him.
Coach Santiago cared deeply for all his players and the Central Catholic football program. He leaves a legacy of passion and care for every player he had the privilege of coaching. His love for a tradition of excellence is something to be admired by all. He will be missed dearly by all. May perpetual light shine upon him.
I pray for you to find peace and strength during this time.
With A Loyal Heart,
