On Sept. 9, a group of Guardian Angels teamed up with a group of vets at VFW Post 8397 to distribute food to members of the community. We prepared food baskets, delivered them, and directed traffic for the event.
Then, on Sept. 13, we had our first blood drive of the year. 27 members of our Central Catholic community were able to donate.
On Sept. 15, we helped out at the 8th grade tailgate. While Mr. Bendele and Mr. Hoenigman played music, our student leaders collected loose change for an organization called “Ending Alzheimer’s.”
Finally, on Sept. 16, the Guardian Angels volunteered at the San Antonio Food Bank in the warehouse.
September has definitely been an adventure!
