Please help us welcome Deja Bertrand who will serve as an intern in the counseling office for the upcoming school year. Deja is a graduate student at UTSA, pursuing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She will be assisting us on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
Deja Bertrand is a graduate student with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at
San Antonio. She is pursuing an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with the hopes to becoming a
licensed professional counselor.

Deja will intern at the Central Catholic High School for the academic year, providing individual and group counseling. She has experience working with various issues, including grief, anxiety, and adjustment/life changes, and uses a compassionate and collaborative approach to meet the needs and goals of her clients.
Deja enjoys spending time with her cats and family, traveling, and watching movies and anime.
