On your marks, get set, go! The Central Catholic Running Buttons are all set to defend their back-to-back TAPPS 6A Cross Country State Championship titles on Monday, October 30. The senior members of the team, including Andrew Rivas, Noah Fernandez, Marcos Serda, and Isaiah Fetter, are looking to put a seal on their Cross Country careers with a record-breaking third consecutive 6A title win.
Joining the seniors will be sophomore Henry Neff and two freshmen, Sergio Martinez and Marcus Cecconi. Junior Mike Castillo will be the alternate, ready to spring into action when needed.
The 6A Cross Country State Championship will be held at the spectacular Cottonwood Creek Golf Course in Waco and streamed live on TAPPS TV, available for all to watch from 1:55 PM onwards. We are excitedly waiting to witness Central Catholic Running Buttons blaze their way to triumph.
