We are excited to announce that our Guardian Angels will be organizing a special donation drive to support those in need during this holiday season. We will be collecting canned goods, toys, and cash donations until Friday, December 1st. The contributions will go towards helping needy families and ensuring that children can celebrate both Thanksgiving and Christmas with joy.
We are proud to serve several communities through this initiative. Here is a list of the organizations we will be supporting:
- St. Paul’s Outreach
- Ending Alzheimer’s Foundation
- University Pediatrics
- St. Mary Magdalen - St. Vincent de Paul
- St. Michael - St. Vincent de Paul
- Holy Rosary - St. Vincent de Paul
- St. Gregory - St. Vincent de Paul
- St. Stephen - Catholic Charities
As you can see, a lot of people are counting on us to make a difference. Together, we can bring happiness to those who need it most.
We also want to highlight that students can earn service hours for their generous donations. Here's how the service hours will work:
- Students can earn up to two hours of service by bringing in 10 or more canned goods.
- Students can earn up to two hours of service by bringing in 2 new toys. Please remember that the toys should be new to limit exposure to germs, as they will be given to children with cancer through University Pediatrics.
- Students can also earn up to two hours of service by donating $10 or more.
In summary, CCHS students have the opportunity to earn a maximum of 6 service hours for their contributions of food, toys, and monetary donations.
