We are thrilled to share the outstanding performances of our Buttons at the Central Catholic Invitational held on Saturday, February 24. Our athletes showcased their talent and dedication, leaving a mark on the competition. Here are some of the highlights:
- Andrew Rivas secured an impressive 2nd place finish in the 3200m Run, clocking in at 9:47.17.
- Noah Fernandez dominated the 800m Run, claiming 1st place with a remarkable time of 1:59.92.
- Avin Houston displayed his skills in the 110m Hurdles, finishing 8th at 16.30, setting a personal record.
- JJ Burch sprinted his way to a 7th place finish in the 100m Dash with an impressive time of 11.30.
- Our 4x200 Relay team, consisting of Aidan Saldana, Noah Meyer, Ramiro Garza, and Ryan Fisher, showcased their teamwork and speed, clinching an 8th-place finish in 1:34.63.
- Jeremiah Thompson showcased his speed in the 400m Dash, setting a record of 55.76 and finishing 13th.
- Davor Stamenov demonstrated superb skill in the 300m Hurdles, finishing 8th with a time of 43.97, setting a new personal record.
- Cairo Prezas showcased his talent in the 200m Dash, securing 7th place with a personal best time of 23.30.
- Andrew Rivas continued to shine in the 1600m Run, placing 3rd at 4:29.26.
- Our 4x400 Relay team, consisting of Ryan Fisher, Jeremiah Thompson, Niko Brey, and Noah Fernandez, showcased their determination, securing a 4th-place finish in 3:40.35.
- Ryan Fisher showcased his jumping prowess in the Long Jump, finishing 7th at 19'7".
- Luke Sanchez was impressed with his performance in the Triple Jump, finishing 13th with a record of 36'10".
- Nicholas Hughes showcased his strength in the Discus, earning a 2nd place finish with a throw of 142'10".
- Nicholas Hughes continued to excel in the Shot Put, finishing 6th with a throw of 44'6".
Davor Stamenov displayed his skills in the High Jump, finishing 7th with a personal record of 5'6".
We are incredibly proud of all our athletes who participated in the Central Catholic Invitational. Their hard work and commitment have paid off, and we look forward to witnessing more outstanding performances in future events.
