Supermoon Over Central Catholic

This month’s full moon, which is being called a Hunter’s Moon or Supermoon, was the brightest of the year due to the moon’s close proximity to the Earth at this time.

While the supermoon was in full effect, a comet by the name of Tsuchinshan-ATLAS was also clearly visible.
This comet won’t return for another 80,000 years!

Several Central Catholic science students from all divisions (and even some faculty) took photographs of this historic event.
