Congratulations to Christian Garcia ‘26 for earning a chair for piano with the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) Region 29 Jazz Ensemble II. This was Christian’s second year representing Central Catholic as the only private school to compete in Region 29.
In September, Christian auditioned amongst 100 plus students from 5A and 6A San Antonio schools from SAISD, NISD, and Boerne ISD to earn one of only two chairs for piano in Region 29. This past Saturday, November 9th, Christian performed with the Jazz Ensemble II for the annual Region 29 Jazz concert held at Clark HS. The performance consisted of five songs with Christian featured on the last song on both piano and keyboard.
