The 2024-25 swim season is nearing the end and our boys have been working hard! They have been putting in long hours of practice at Hollywood Park and while the pool is heated, there are still some days that are outright cold. Yet, these young men have been determined to improve their times a little more each day.
The squad is led by head coach, Kevin Gallivan, who is one of the most experienced and respected coaches in all of Texas. Coach Kevin is surrounded by a wonderful group of Central parents who generously give their time to this program.
As our team prepares for regionals, district, and state, they know that they have an uphill battle due to the fact that this is a young team. However, they eagerly await the challenge. Some of their standouts include Gabriel Krupka '26, Joseph Calzada '26, and Christian Contreras '26, along with Madden Minyard '27, and Andrew “AJ” Keye '28.
With a squad this young, the future of our Central Swim Team is bright. In the meantime, though, let’s wish them luck now as they try to bring home more medals to Central Catholic!
