2024-25 Parent Club Board Positions

PARENT CLUB BOARD OPEN POSITIONS 
2024-2025

The Parent Club is seeking parents to fill Board member positions for the 2024-2025 school year.  All parents or guardians of students who attend CCHS are members of the Parent Club and can submit their names for consideration as long as they meet the eligibility requirements of the position they are interested in filling.

    • Secretary
    • Hospitality/Volunteer Co-Chair
    • Faculty/Staff Appreciation Co-Chair
    • Father/Son Co-Chair
    • Mother/Son Chair
    • Mother/Son Co-Chair
    • Admissions Liaison

The Secretary shall keep an accurate record of the proceedings of all general and executive board meetings, including attendance; prepare a list of all unfinished/pending business for the use of the President; and distribute minutes to the Club.
Eligibility:
          • At least one year active in the Parent Club
          • Term of Office: One-year term; no more than two consecutive terms in the same position
 
The Hospitality/Volunteer Co-Chair shall attend executive board and general membership meetings and assist the Hospitality Chair in organizing Grandparents Day and the PB&J events for the Fall and Spring Final Exams. 
Eligibility:
          • At least one year active in the Parent Club
          • Term of office: Two-year consecutive term; the Hospitality Co-chair will assume the role of chair the following year
 
The Faculty/Staff Appreciation Co-Chair shall attend executive board and general membership meetings, and assist the Faculty/Staff Appreciation Chair in planning, coordinating, and executing successful monthly Faculty/Staff Appreciation events throughout the year utilizing a pre-approved budget.  
Eligibility:
          • At least one year active in the Parent Club
          • Term of office: Two-year consecutive term; the Faculty/Staff Appreciation Co-chair will assume the role of chair the following year
 
The Father-Son Co-Chair will assist the Father/Son Chair in planning, coordinating, and executing a successful Father Son event.
Eligibility:
          • Must have served on the Father/Son committee for at least one year
          • Term of office: Two-year consecutive term; the Father/Son Co-Chair will assume the role of chair the following year
 
The Mother-Son Chair will plan, coordinate, and execute a successful Mother/Son event.
Eligibility:
          • Must have served on the Mother/Son committee for at least one year
          • Term of office: one-year term
 
The Mother-Son Co-Chair will assist the Mother/Son Chair in planning, coordinating, and executing a successful mother-son event.
Eligibility:  
          • Must have served on the Mother/Son committee for at least one year
          • Term of office: Two-year consecutive term; the Mother/Son co-chair will assume the role of chair the following year
 
The Admissions Liaison will act as the liaison between the Admissions Department and the Parent Club Board. The Admissions Liaison will coordinate the Parent Club volunteers necessary to support the various Admissions events throughout the school year including but not limited to Freshman Orientation, 8th Grade Tours, Button Field Day, Middle School Tailgate, & Button Round-Up.
Eligibility:
          • At least one year active in the Parent Club
          • Term of Office: One-year term; no more than two consecutive terms in the same position
